Life Threatening Emergencies:
In a life-threatening emergency such as sudden severe chest pain, severe breathlessness, loss of power in a limb, loss of consciousness or severe bleeding dial 999.
Injuries:
The health centre is equipped to treat minor injuries like small cuts and joint sprains. If the injury is more severe or may involve a broken bone then you should attend the local minor injuries unit at Frenchay Hospital A+E Dept (Frenchay Park Road, Bristol, Avon, BS16 1LE Telephone 0117 9701212).
Also in the event of poisoning or overdose the attend the local A+E
Urgent Problems during Surgery Hours:
If you have an urgent problem during surgery hours call the health centre on 0117 957 6000. All medical requests that require urgent or immediate contact are triaged by a clinician. Full details of the triage process can be found here.
Urgent Problems outside Surgery Hours:
If you have an urgent problem when the health centre is closed, then please call 0845 121 0504.
